ODS was recently awarded to deliver the complete metering package for a big bio fuel project in the port of Rotterdam. This project is an important step as the traditional refineries will undergo transformation more and more into sustainable energy parks in the future.

Project details

This particular project includes the engineering, procurement and supply, fabrication, shop assembly, mechanical completion, inspection and testing of the single skid mounted HVO Kerosene, HVO Diesel, RVO/PVO, RVO Tallow and Non Tallow all custody transfer meter runs. The scope also include the Flow computer cabinet. Off course the systems are designed and certified in compliance with MID.

Emissions reduction

The build of a facility of this size will help The Netherlands and the rest of Europe to meet internationally binding emissions reduction targets. It will produce low-carbon fuels such as renewable diesel from waste in the form of used cooking oil, waste animal fat and other industrial and agricultural residual products, using advanced technology. We are proud we are part of the transformation!

A fun fact is that this will be the biggest skid mounted metering system supplied for the Dutch market!
